"We stayed in a wonderful place  It has luxury, beautiful furniture, lots of comfort and a special kitchen.  We loved to stay in the property, Dunvegan.  It’s a lovely special place.  With great luxury, beautiful details, bedrooms with plenty of room, great kitchen.  Lovely sight of the castle. "Fantastic location  Great home, with easy access walking to city centre.  Super clean and spacious.  Great option for picking up breakfast supplies at Marks and Spencers.  Check out my visitor comments in the on-site book.  We found an excellent driver for whisky tastings and local scenic locations - Craig.  We also found an excellent contact - Max – for fishing.  I hope you enjoy your stay, as we found it fantastic.  DC Oct 18"

"Etwas teuerer, aber es lohnt sich  Das Haus liegt mitten in der Stadt, sobald man den dazugehörigen, hinter dem Haus befindlichen Parkplatz gefunden hat, hier wäre ein entsprechendes Foto nützlich gewesen, da wir exakt dreimal durch das Einbahnstraßen Gewühl gefahren sind... ist alles sehr gut beschrieben. Das Haus ist alt und liebevoll und hochwertig renoviert. Die Badezimmer sind modern, Achtung: Briten duschen immer in einer Badewanne. Die Küche ist gut ausgerüstet. Absolut lobenswert ist die makellose Sauberkeit, die hervorragenden Betten und die wunderschöne Bettwäsche. Alles in Inverness lässt sich fussläufig erreichen, zwei Supermärkte, plus Marks and Spencers. Wem 2000 Euro die Woche nicht zu viel ist, ist sehr gut aufgehoben.  CD Oct 18"

"Casa muy encantadora y acogedora  La casa es increible, tanto por como es, como por la ubicación. Disponía de zona de aparcamiento reservado, pero por la ubicación, no hace falta vehiculo, se puede ir andando a casi todos los sitios interesantes. "Wonderful place to stay  This was our second stay in the property, this time over Christmas.  The house is so well located for everything in Inverness and the views from the rooms are fantastic out over the heart of Inverness.  As it was last time, the house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay.  We had 6 people, with one extra overnight and there was plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone.  The kitchen was excellent for cooking our Christmas meal too.  I can highly recommend Dunvegan house and will be back one day myself for sure.   MA Jan 19"

"Fantastic family weekend  From the time of booking to departing, the service was amazing.  The property itself is beautiful and the owners have thoughtof everything.  All the nice little touches, like the welcome pack, information book, local guides and kitchen bits and pieces make your stay very comfortable.  The location is great and all the rooms are clean and comfortable.  There is plenty living space so a large family can enjoy time together without feeling overcrowded (there were 6 adults and 2 kids in our party).  We would 100% recommend staying here and are already looking forward to booking again in the future.  KS Mar 19"

"Wonderful home in Inverness  This is an exceptionally beautiful home that provided plenty of space for my family of six.  The host was very kind and responsive.  We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, had ample room to gather in the living room, and enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and baths.  The views and garden were delightful too.  Best of all, we were within walking distance of restaurants and shopping in Inverness.  I have rented many vacation homes, and this was one of the best.  JC Aug 19"

"Maison très agréable, propriétaire charmant   Nous étions 2 couples avec un enfant chacun. La maison était parfaite puisque chaque couple a disposé d'une chambre dont une avec suite parentale, avec WC pour chaque famille et les 2 enfants ont dormi dans une chambre à part, dans 2 lits individuels. Toutes les chambres sont à l'étage et le RDC dispose même d'un WC indépendant. Il y a suffisamment d'espace pour rester tous ensemble à discuter dans la cuisine pendant la préparation du repas, manger dans la salle à manger ou se reposer dans le salon. Nous avons dû faire appel au propriétaire pour un problème de lave-vaisselle. Il a été très réactif et l'a réglé immédiatement avec beaucoup de politesse. A noter qu'il était présent sur place pendant 2 nuits mais dans une aile à part complètement indépendante de nous, qui n'a donc causé aucune gêne puisque nous ne nous croisions pas. "Wonderful retreat in the heart of town  This property is a dream. Our family of four stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it as a hub as we adventured throughout the area. Extremely comfortable, lots of space to stretch out in, great kitchen, brilliant views ... and it even has a lovely secret garden that is filled with flowers. Es war PERFEKT.  Ich (50) war schon in einigen hochwertigen Ferienhäusern, dieses ist eines der schönsten und vollkommenst ausgestattesten Objekte die ich je bewohnt habe. "Holiday Perfection  This home was the perfect place to stay during the middle of our vacation driving around Scotland. We booked it hoping that this would serve as a restful place for 4 nights while we visited the surrounding sites. It far exceeded all of our expectations. The location is easily walkable to everything in Inverness, and the home is far more spacious and calming that we imagined. Every room was spacious and welcoming with stunning views of the city. The owner stocked the fridge with breakfast food for our first morning, and we leisurely prepared it and dined in the beautiful dining room. This set the pace for our days. We ate breakfast every day in the dining room and ended our evenings in the cozy living room recounting our experiences from the day in front of the fire. Everything worked well in the house - all appliances, heat, parking, etc. We woke up every morning feeling rested and delighted to lounge in bed for a few extra minutes watching the clouds slowly meander across the sky, just above the roof tops of Inverness. The only complaint I have is the home was so lovely and welcoming that we may not have seen all that we could have around Inverness because we wanted to enjoy our time in this stunning home.  DE Oct 19"

"Perfect 3 generation get-away  We stayed for a long weekend at this wonderful house, a family group with members ranging from 2 to 75 years old!  It was absolutely perfect for us, spacious, tasteful, spotless, very warm and welcoming, and by the way the showers are amazing!!  And the welcome pack of groceries was much appreciated by weary travellers!  But best of all is it's location, fantastic views across Inverness city and hills beyond, and minutes walk from the city centre and all it's great shops, restaurants and bars.  And it has parking!  So it's safe to say we were absolutely delighted thank you, and shall be booking to return on a city-break from the Outer Hebrides very soon.  FG Feb 20."

"Flawless stay  David’s house is conveniently located in a quiet area but super close to all shops and restaurants. All communications were prompt and thorough; David had some excellent suggestions for our itinerary, especially Fraser Grant of IE Taxi Company, who was the ultimate professional and a great source of local history. Everything in the house worked as described. David was also kind to let us check out at a later time. I would highly recommend David’s place for anyone visiting the Highlands. "Wonderful House, Great Location, Helpful Host  We stayed here with our daughter and her two friends who are all studying abroad in Edinburgh. It was a great house to spend time together and explore the area. The house is thoughtfully stocked, including groceries for our first breakfast and plenty of tea, coffee, sugar for our whole stay. The house is lovely, very clean, and the beds and bedding are extra comfortable. We walked to the train station to get the girls- the town of Inverness is right outside the door. The Castle Tavern across the street is really good and we went there twice. We appreciated David’s helpful instructions and recommendations, and loved the Mustard Seed restaurant as well as the Dunrobin castle (about an hour drive). Although the castle was closed for going inside, the gardens are open. The castle and gardens are awe inspiring and well worth the trip. Had a great lunch at Poppies cafe near by.
